​The girls each had two pairs of convertible pants. By the end of the trip they were able to remove and replace the legs on their own. The legs zip off to make shorts but also unzip vertically so they can be removed without taking their shoes off. Only a few times they complained about chaffing from the shorts. They wore these almost every day and the light color had to be retired due to the stains but they held up to sliding down rocks and other fun just fine.
